Terms & Conditions
Last updated: 31 August 2026
These Terms & Conditions govern your use of the Hop for Good app and website (the "Service"). The Service is operated by Hop for Good ("we", "us"), contactable at areapetita@gmail.com. By creating an account or continuing to use the Service, you enter into an agreement with Hop for Good and agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Service.
1. Who can use Hop for Good
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority in your country, to buy a membership. If you use the Service on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to bind that organisation. You must provide accurate information and keep your account credentials confidential; you are responsible for activity under your account.
2. What the Service is
Hop for Good is a digital habit-tracking app built around a 30-day journey. A paid membership unlocks the full journey and creates a monthly "impact pool" that is allocated to the social cause you choose as you complete your daily steps.
The organisations shown in the app are independent third parties selected by us. Unless explicitly stated on a page, they are not partners of, affiliated with, or endorsers of Hop for Good. Amounts shown in the app describe how your membership is allocated internally; they are not a donation receipt and do not create any legal claim against a named organisation.
3. Free trial and membership
New users get a 3-day free trial. After the trial, continued access requires a paid membership of EUR 6.99 per month, billed monthly in advance until cancelled. Your membership renews automatically. You can cancel at any time; cancellation stops future renewals and you keep access until the end of the period you have already paid for.
4. Payments, billing and tax
Paid memberships are not currently available. When we re-enable them, payments will be processed by a third-party payment provider that handles card details, billing, applicable taxes and invoicing on our behalf; we never see or store your full card number.
Payment, billing, applicable taxes, invoicing, cancellation and refund mechanics are described in our Refund Policy. For any billing question, contact us and we will resolve it directly.
5. Acceptable use
You agree not to misuse the Service. In particular, you must not:
- use the Service for anything unlawful, fraudulent, abusive or spam-related;
- infringe anyone's intellectual property or privacy rights;
- interfere with the security or integrity of the Service, including malware, probing, scraping, or attempts to circumvent technical limits;
- reverse engineer, resell or redistribute the Service or any part of it.
6. Your content
You keep ownership of the habits, tasks and notes you create. You grant us a limited licence to host and process that content solely to operate the Service for you.
7. Intellectual property and licence
Hop for Good retains all rights in the Service, including its software, illustrations, text and branding. We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal, non-commercial purposes within your plan.
8. Service level and warranties
We work hard to keep the Service running, but we do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that data will never be lost. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all implied warranties, including merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
9. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. We exclude liability for indirect, consequential or special damages, including loss of profits, data or goodwill. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate your access for material breach of these terms, non-payment, security or fraud risk, or repeated or serious policy violations. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. On termination, your access ends and your data may be deleted after a reasonable period; contact us if you need an export.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be communicated in the app or by email; continued use after the change means you accept the updated terms.
12. Governing law
These terms are governed by Spanish law, and the courts of Spain have jurisdiction, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you additional rights.
